Privacy Policy.
What we collect when you visit djprodigee.com or get in touch, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information DJ Prodigee (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects through djprodigee.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We keep the information we collect to what we need to run our business and answer you.
1. Information you give us
When you fill in a form on the Site, we collect what you enter:
- Booking form: your name, email address, phone number and event details such as the date, venue, type of event, guest count, services you are interested in and your message.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- “Notify me” sign-ups: your email address, so we can tell you when a public show is announced.
- Email and text message (SMS) sign-ups: your email address and/or mobile phone number, plus a record of when and how you agreed to receive messages.
Form submissions are stored privately in our website’s admin area and emailed to us so we can reply. Marketing sign-ups are stored with our email and SMS marketing provider. If you email or message us directly, we keep that correspondence too.
2. Information collected automatically
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
- Advertising: the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads tags record visits and actions on the Site, such as pages viewed, ticket links clicked and forms submitted, so we can measure our ads and show ads to people who have visited. See Advertising below.
- Security: the Site is protected by Cloudflare, including Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms, which checks whether a visitor is a person rather than a bot. Our security tools also record IP addresses and request details to block attacks and repeated failed log-ins.
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting servers keep standard logs of requests, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them for analytics (Google Analytics), advertising (Meta and Google Ads) and security (Cloudflare). WordPress may also set cookies if you log in to the site. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, although some security checks may ask you to verify yourself more often. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
4. Embedded and third-party content
Some pages include content from other services, which may collect information about you under their own privacy policies:
- YouTube videos load in privacy-enhanced mode and only connect to YouTube after you click play.
- Livestreams are delivered from our video provider, Bunny.net, which receives your IP address so it can send you the video.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, SoundCloud, Mixcloud and ticketing platforms take you to those services, whose own policies then apply.
5. Purchases and tickets
Tickets are sold through third-party platforms such as Eventbrite, EventNoire and Posh. Those platforms collect and process your payment and ticket details under their own privacy policies and share attendee information with us as the event organizer, such as your name and email. When you buy merchandise or digital downloads, the store and payment provider handling the order receive the details needed to process payment and deliver it. We do not store your full card details.
6. How we use your information
- To reply to inquiries, prepare quotes and plan and perform the events you book.
- To fulfil orders and deliver tickets, merchandise and downloads.
- To send the show announcements, event news, offers and updates you signed up for, by email or text message.
- To understand and improve the Site.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent fraud and spam.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of advertising cookies and tags, described under Advertising below, may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws, such as those of California and Texas. You can opt out as described there.
7. Email and text message marketing
We send marketing emails and text messages only to people who have signed up for them. Signing up is never a condition of booking us or buying anything.
- Frequency: message frequency varies, usually around event announcements and releases.
- Costs: message and data rates may apply to text messages, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opting out: every email includes an unsubscribe link. For text messages, reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also email [email protected] to be removed from either list.
- Engagement data: our marketing provider records whether messages are delivered, opened or clicked, so we can see what is useful and avoid sending messages that are not wanted.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages.
8. Advertising
We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. To measure how those ads perform and to show ads to people who have visited the Site, we use the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags. They use cookies and similar technology to record events such as page views, ticket-link clicks and form submissions, together with your IP address and browser and device information. Meta and Google may link this to information they already hold about you, under their own privacy policies. Mobile numbers collected for our text messages are never shared with Meta or Google for advertising.
You can limit or opt out of this advertising:
- Google: manage ad personalization at My Ad Center.
- Meta: change your ad preferences in Facebook or Instagram settings, under Accounts Center.
- Industry opt-outs: use the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tools.
- Your browser: block third-party cookies, or turn on Global Privacy Control.
- Ask us: email [email protected] to opt out of targeted advertising.
9. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business — website hosting, email delivery, our email and SMS marketing provider, Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (advertising), Cloudflare (security), Bunny.net (video delivery) and the ticketing, store and payment platforms described above — and only for those purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or that of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
10. How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and booking records for as long as we need them to deliver our services and to keep reasonable business, tax and legal records, then delete them. If you unsubscribe from our emails or text messages, we stop sending them and keep only a record that you opted out, so you are not added again by mistake. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
11. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it to send you marketing emails or text messages, or stop using it for targeted advertising. Depending on where you live — for example California, the European Union or the United Kingdom — you may have additional rights under local law, such as data portability or the right to complain to a regulator. We honor reasonable requests from anyone, wherever they live, and where the law requires it we treat a browser’s Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising. Email [email protected] to make a request; we may need to confirm your identity first.
12. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted admin access and security monitoring, to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
